I was talking to Alan who I got the male off today and he rekons it would be around the 6/7 year mark as the bloke he bought it off grew it on from 2". No idea about the female but its a good bit smaller.

If i'm not mistaken didn't you mention that the male was a good 30cm+??? I thought large L's like l114, l25, l190, L27 etc only grow to about 20-25cm max in captivity when grown from a small size??

Hey Sniper.

The behaved pretty much as any other plec I have spawned. The female hung around the cave for a while and then in the morning the male had her trapped and was doing the shimmy. Thats about it really.

Looking good but still look nothing like 114. These little things are trying to learn how to use their big paddle they have strapped to them at the moment. If i startle them then the almost swim straight out of the fry trap, Infact 5 or 6 are now in the main tank from doing so:lol:
