Awesome. Do most peoples L's breed all year?
My fish have been neglected while renovations have been happening so hopefully a big water change this weekend kicks their butts into gear! :)

Ignoring the 397's worked! I found a stray egg yesterday that hatched today.
Hoping there is more in a cave. I'm extra happy because I raised these from 3cm fry :)

100's of Bristlenose and a small batch of 134's. discus keep trying as well but no good in the community tank. Also trying 66's and 333's might have to change the furniture around for them!!

Must be prime L278 breeding time then? Mine bred a couple weeks ago too.
Didn't really do anything different to warrant them breeding.
Maybe I did turn the heater up a little to cope with the really cold nights sometimes.
My heaters when the outside temp is around zero do struggle a bit. Turning them up gives me a bit of a temperature buffer.

This morning, just found my male 168 sitting on a huge cluster of eggs inbetween 2 pieces of drift wood...theres that many that he is struggling to fan them...This would be my biggest batch yet.

My lot are being swines at the minute, my L338 who normally kicks his eggs out actually hatched them for the first time, then ate them. My L004 ate his eggs for the 2nd time in a row, my L002 male has ate his last 3 spawns. My L066, L260 and L333 have been trapping but no eggs.

Good news is that my Hypan sp Guaviare have spawned again, due to hatch now and the other pair have been trapping a week :)

Hi Bren,
someone once told me you've got to give them a gift like viformo but im not sure if it is before they breed or after.you were right about them angels I did see them peeping intothe caves they must know there are some goodies for a treat so theyre breeding alright thinking i've given them a gift.
cheers Doug
