Zebra pleco sausage party

hey everyone,

new to the forum and need some advice and second pair of eyes, been fortunate enough to have four zebra pleco for around two years with great growth rate but I think got all males. I’m no expert and don’t really know what I’m looking at would love second opinion from some of you , would be greatly appreciated.

with zebra plecos they produce more males than females they are not steedy breeders meaning they dont breed alot like other plecos and have fewer fry

Hi,

You should always check for yourself, because there are also optical illusions in photos.

According to the photos without guarantee:

Pic. 1) probably female and male (The body shape would speak for female in both, but the right one probably has much stronger pectoral fin spines.)
Pic. 2.) The big one will most likely be a male.
Pic. 3.) Possibly a female.
Pic. 4 = pic. 1?

It is probably the time when the external sex characteristics are just beginning to emerge.
Maybe we should look at the animals again later.
