added 2 peas to my big tank today.perry had a bit but the betta had nearly a hole 1.didn,t think bettas would eat peas.
ive also noticed my bigplant at the back right:

has tons off holes in it,is this down to perry eatin the muck off the leaves?
this is an old pic, plant is nearly 2x the size now.

yes peas are very good food, I feed tham several times a week.
lots of fish like them. I used to have a betta ( a big male fighter) who would love peas too. my endlers and some of the tetras love them too.
yes Perry may well be sucking the leaves! maybe leave some courgette or cucumber in overnight for him instead.

I would leave it for her to finish eating or she will start on the next plant!
seems she is hungry, easyier to put veg in and replace with fresh every day rather than over feed as that is what really spoils water. try some flake food as well as I think she needs more than just veg. Perry will like flake food too.

I have anubias in my tank and my pleco does not touch it at all. Their leaves you will notice are quite thick and tough, they might clean algae off of them but they should not be able to eat them.

Bettas are very prone to swim bladder problems caused by constipation. This especially in flake fed fish. Peas are excellent for Bettas and will stop that happening.....as he likes them I would feed them once a week at least and he'll stay fit and healthy
