Came in as 340

I would say L333 but not sure how they would come to be mixed with L340 though.

You could well be right Strap. The L340,s that I have seen coming in moment have infact turned out to be L129 so these could be the true L340 which are by far a better looking fish.

I've got the same fish also sold as 340. Very vividly marked, not at all like the pics of 129 that I have seen.

ive only ever seen a few L340 in the flesh so im purely guessing, to me they dont look like L333 and if compared to the pics on PC of the L340 they are very very similar

Jo what do you think they are? you have both L340 & L333. what are your thoughts on them

I think they are L340 looking at some of the pictures on PC I wanted it confirming that they are not L129 which a lot of L340 have been so I am happy now

Yep they are in my tank I will take some more tomorrow when they are more settled.

My L340 are chocolate brown with gold striping with few dots/dashes. apparently to tell the difference between L340 and L129 its all in the head size/shape. Also I think L129 are a darker brown/black than 340.

from the pic its very hard to tell but I would lean towards L340 but a very nicely marked L340.
