20/3/12 ph 7.0 slight buffer added after water change
20/3/12 Removed of all L270 from the tank and all male L201 except one and kept 3 female L201.
22/3/12 canister cleaned and purigen bag added
23/3/12 tds156 ph6.4 a little buffer added to 6.8.
27/3/12 Usual 30% water change done.
4/4/12 fry discovered loose in tank. All egg sacks absorbed.
18/6/12 no further breeding since a second L201 male was introduced to the tank.
Result, musical caves, sparring between both sexes. May have to remove extra male.

WERE PARENTS OR EGGS/FRY REMOVED AFTER SPAWN? Fry removed immediately to a fry saver for a month in a grow out tank and then released. There was a reason for this as the dwarf corydoras had spawned and I could see half grown cory living under the ugf. An escape tube was introduced and the cory juvies came to live topside but it was too dangerous to leave little L201 fry loose in the tank in case they went down the escape tube to live under the ugf.

NUMBER OF FRY HATCHED: 7

NUMBER OF FRY SURVIVED: 5 (one dropped off dw when I took it out and I accidentally stood on it and one got trapped between a piece of indian almond leaf in the fry saver and the airstone and perished.

FRY WATER CHANGES: same as for adults, once a week

FIRST FOODS: Same as for adults with shrimp pellets withheld for first few weeks

FREQ OF FEEDING: Twice a day at first (tiny amounts), then nightly.
