Hi all,
I've had plecos in the past and now my girlfriend got me
a fluval edge for my 40th.so went shopping for a nice pleco.
Came across this lovely 2" imperal tiger (L333).got him
after the tank had been set and running for 2 weeks.
Not seen him much, he hides in a cave in the day time and
only comes out at night and feeds.I've also seen a snowball
pleco, would these 2 get on?would love to get him.any way great
web site,cheers.

hello and welcome, if by snowball you mean LDA030 then they will get on but the snowball will out grow the tank as they grow to 8 inches. how big is the tank?

Hi the tank is 23L /8gal I think, it's not big so I'll only be
put 2or3 smallish fish in.but mayBe not the snowball if they
grow that big,shame cos the one I found is only just under 2"
long...

tbh a 23L tank is a bit small for plecs, good excuse to get a bigger tank:yes::clap:

Hi ya, yeah thats my current collection. As for buying fish in Crawley, you have 2 maidenheads to get your bread and butter fish. As for buying plecs, you really need to travel atleast a hour to get a decent selection. Often travel to Essex, London, Brighton and Eastbourne to get a good selection!

And as for the bigger tank, just buy it and let her deal with it!

welcoem to the plec world, i started with one tank at 5 gallon then onto my second at 28 gallons, and now checking my next out at 58 gallon for my next home...lol...

have u been to "knights" garden center in godstone?
thats where perry came from.they have at least 10 diff plecos in there tanks,
well they did have last monday.
