Thanks for the info.

I did do my research on the 104's though, that 3 footer is a panaque PALACE

its riddled with wood and caves of several sizes made out of Oak and Mahogani,

Live plants to further reduce any potential nitrites,

a 6000 L/h powerhead and fluval 405 Canister filter, I treat those things better than i treat myself lol.

In regards to the Brita filter each cartridge will set me back around £70.00.

I have had the plumber instal the filter in such a way that the only thing the filtered water will be used for is, cooking ; drinking and 30 litres per week for water changes on my breeding tank,

at a bypass of 20% it will last me for around 8000 Litres give or take.


Will keep my fingers crossed and hope it works
