Hi, I have a couple L134’s which spawned once for me but unfortunately they didn’t survive. That was a few months ago and then nothing since. Am I safe to assume that the 3 with hairy tails are male and the other 2 are the females? Is it better to keep them all together for breeding or should I split the pairs up in their own tanks and put the spare male in my community tank? Thank you in advanced

Hi,
Thick hairs on the caudal peduncle indicate males. Not all males need to be heavily haired. (Older) females can also be hairy.
It can be seen most clearly in the shape of the body. However, one should always consider several criterias:
To distinguish the sexes of small hypostominae loricariids
I would leave the plecos together.
