they are pretty much the same as most other hypans.... nothing special... dont need low tds levels like some people carry on - mine have all bred in tds of 350+ ppm.... males start breeding at 3 years of age and females bit over 2 years old...

just maintain good water quality now.... but thats associated with plenty of water changes.... they are spawning very regularly now so i wont mess with anything... temperature does drop temporarily when your water changing also so it may be a contributing factor but i dont believe it is... stability is more important....
