Hello, I have 2 albino longfin bristlenose plecos. I’ve had them for about 3 months. They’ve been healthy and growing well. Unfortunately just recently I’ve noticed the edges of there fins bloodshot red. I was told this could be an infection. Please help.

If you can supply a picfure it could help
But blood at the base of the fins COULD be septocemia
Blood in the fins may be stress related or it can be a sign of ammonia poisoning
Do a test for ammonia, nitrate and nitrite

have u tested your ammonia and ph nitriates nitrates and phosphates it could very well be ammonia burn or ph burn if to low a ph or if ph is to high it could all so be burns from your heater or other fish attacking the plecos fins
