hi all,2 weeks ago i upped my ferts in both of my tanks.
only to see if i could get a bit more growth out of my slow growing plants.
6ml extra in my 75L a week and 2ml extra in my edge a week,
and now i have small bits off staghorn in both tanks.
nowt has been added,changed or had any deaths in both tanks.
so i think its the ferts thats giving me staghorn!

Overdosing ferts can cause various algae, you could also try adding some fast growing plants, these may help with any algae problems

Try Easy carb & ProFito by Easy_Life
I use these at 2 x Recommended dose with no algae,
in a 3 foot x 18" x 18" I dose 6m/m easycarbo every day & 25 m/m ProFito 2 x a week, I have Co2 at 10 bubbles per second. Co2 is off at night and I do 20% water changes two times a week using R/O and HMA mix with a very small amount of min,s.
Tank Bio Load is quite high 20 + neon's, 6 x Apistos, 2 x Sturos, 12 very young assorted Hypans and 4 x port hole cats

Works very well for me
I grow Anubis and Crypts in the tank.

been trying easycarbo and easying of the ferts fr just over a week now and i can,t find any algae :woohoo:
the pants are greener to.
i swear i won,t change this routine any more,this one is working very well.
