I have some brittlenose plecos in a community tank and they’ve laid eggs about 3-4 times now. None of them have ever survived because I didn’t care enough to move them or my other fish out of the tank. This time I want them to survive, should I move my other 5 fish to another tank or is it possible to move just the male and his eggs into a separate tank to ensure they survive? Any advice is appreciated as this is my first time trying to keep the babies alive.

It would be important to first know what species it is.
If it is the normal Ancistrus sp. (including cultivated forms) is:
If they are still in a cave and are being cared for by the male, then move them with the male and the cave.
If they are already in the aquarium or are not being cared for in a cave, only move the young animals. When they are no longer in the cave, they no longer need the male.
That should be enough for these.
