Anyone tryed it? I have some for my birds, and was curious if it was safe for my Orange Spot BN (who are very reluctant to breed, and I am trying new foodsa with them).

I would imagine it would be ok but i wouldn't leave any in too long due to it being a fruit which break down in water quicker. Would wait for other opinions first though lol

I would be very careful if you are going to trial it. Make sure you try it when you are at home for a while. We stupidly once placed some avocado in a tank, an hour lately the tank was full of green sludge, required a major cleanout.

I will try it a plain cup of tap water first, before putting it any tanks, thanks guys.

I have even given bns a bit of watermelon rind with a bit of the red still on it.
They loved it but its only good for a few hours as the warm tank and water will start to dissolve and soften it fast.
