Common or Brostlenose??

Petsmart sold me 2 "Albino Bristlenose Plecos" but the more I see them grow, I don't think they're actually Bristlenose. Please help since the size they'll grow would be quite different I have 2 that started the same size but one is significantly smaller, im assuming theyre different sexes.

more than likely not bristle nose they look like albino plectotomus plecos that get very large 30 to 40 cm may be bigger i breed albino bristle nose and they dont look like that

One is 8in long and the other is 6in currently. They also do not have red eyes...does make any difference?

Hi,

if they don't have red eyes, they're not albinos.
They are xanthonic. The variant is also often referred to as "gold".

i know they dont have red eyes i noticed that u can get creamy ones that arent albino i know they arent bristle nose i did say that to the other member
