I had to replace the light unit on my vision 260.The old unit had an inline switch that allowed you to switch either light on.The new 1 doesnt.Would it be possible for me to change the cables and would it work with no issues?I dont want to mess around with it if its not going to work lol.:wb:

should work fine. all you'll be doing is putting a switch in the live wire to the light unit.

Maplin sell them as a part if you just want to buy a new switch to put on it

I can only find a 3 wire one in white on the website

Sorry to hijack but is it possible to put a switch in a Juwel Lighting unit to operate the tubes independently?

Cool russel, why they aren't just wired parallel i'll never know. Surely with a bit of rewiring it can be done.

I think they are - and the ballast needs the load of both of them together to operate, so switching one off will stop the other working aswell (like when a tube goes - it stops working alogether)

I thought you just wanted to be able to turn the light unit on and off...
