Here are some notes and pictures of my Hypancistrus Furunculus.

Last summer I bought 6 wild caught adult L199. I didn't know what gender they had because of the strees they had been trough. So I started to feed them and left them alone for a few months. After 3 months the females became clear. By now I could see I had 3 females and 3 males. Not bad considering there were only 6 fish available :D
I gave them some caves and started doing colder water changes. Not long after that they gave me their first spawn. Spawns contain about 20-25 eggs.
These were also my first fish that gave me 2 spawns at the same time and never gave any problems with that.

Some parameters:
PH 7,1
KH 3
NO2 0
NO3 <5
Microsiemens 200-300
Temperature 28-30 degrees

Picture of the 6 fish when they came in

Settled in to their tank with some caves

Gravid female wanting to get in to the cave, went on for days
