sexing L397 help please

Both plecos are over around 8cm which is usually the sexing size
if anyone could help it would be very helpful

Yup...Right one is male and the left is female.
BTW, I got 20 L397 coming my way....now who is laughing!!!!

Thanks....I haven't got the fish yet. A group of 200 is coming to US, and I got the first pick. Actually the 2nd pick as 50 of them have been 'taken'. Minus the 20 for me, there are only 130 left for everyone else. So the first round will only be available for few lucky breeders.

I know they are easy to breed and decent spawn size too, that's why I don't understand why it has taken so long to get here.

Now, if I can get a group of these, I would be set!!!!

That is actually L236. L250 is a 'myth' only 8 was ever caught and sold. L250 has a completely different dorsal and caudal patterns than L236. This is a group in the 100s of L236 ready to go to Asia market. In my opinion, this is the actual L236 where the black lines are thinner than the white margins, not the questionable L236 sold by Glaser a few years back. Even some guy in USA is selling the Glaser questionable hybrid claiming to be L236.
