I like it, it serves many purposes. Very innovative and cost effective. Well done.

I have built a special angled glass plinth for my sponges to go on next to the outflow for my 8ft river tank, so the backing only comes up to the plinth and then the sponges shoud take over as backing. hopefully.

It should look brilliant.

suckers for sponges

Hi all,
I've also now got 2 sponges and plenty of Java fern (As well as a few other species I thought might work), I need some suckers, and I seem to remember someone posted a link for a good source of cheap suction cups (off Ebay?).

Does anyone know where to get them from? (I'm in the UK).

cheers Darrel

I would get good ones the cheaper ones just go hard and fall off.

I use Eheim to stick small bits of bogwood to the glass in much the same way.

Your tank looks great. I have to try it myself.
