Hi all,
Thought I would give myself a quick intro
My name is Chris and I am from the South Coast of the U.K. I have been keeping fish for 25 odd years on and off but in recent years have tended to want to specialise a bit more. I have kept hi tech planted aquaria, and various cichlid tanks ranging from tanganyikan shell dwellers to south american dwarfs and geophagines, to west african riverine biotope to name but a few.
For my sins, I am the Publicity Officer of the British Cichlid Association, but I have to admit that one of those sins (according to my fellow cichlid lovers) is that I also have developed a recent passion for L number plecos.
I have always loved Zebras (who doesnt, lol) and wish I had bought a load 20 odd years ago when they were relatively cheap, but recently have been exposed to what other beauties are available !
My first and proudest buy has been my little 2.5" Sultan Pleco (Leporacanthicus joselimai). I have only had him a day so only seen him in the bag really as of course he is hiding until he gets used to his new home, but I already love the little guy.
I am hoping to set up a breeding tank for something like L134s though, so will be avidly reading the forums here and probably quizzing some of you too.
Thanks for reading,
regards
Chris
