Name: Microsorum Pteropus, Java Fern

Location in Tank: Mid/Background

Water parameters: 18-30c, PH 5-8

Lighting: Low-high

CO2 required?: Not needed but does benefit from CO2 injection

Additional Info: The Java fern is a brilliant plant for beginners and experts alike. Its an easy to grow species that should not be buried in the substrate as it will rot instead attach it to either wood or rock with fishing line or cotton where it will eventually take hold.
Many believe that the black spots that this plant produces on its leaves is a disease, its not. New plantlets will grow from these black spots.
