1) Just noticed today that one of my younger pleco's mouth is damaged, not sure if it's disease or what all other fish are pretty healthy. It's on the tip and there is pinkish flesh visible fairly big size, It was still eating ok this morning. Also noticed slightly damaged fin.

2) Tankmates: 9 neon tetras, 7 guppies, 4 Julii cory, 4 young adult L144, 3x juvies L144 and a lot of fry now.
Tank 46 Gal running 5 months,

3) a. Ammonia 0
b. Nitrite 0
c. Nitrate 80 (used to be less but since I got the fry past 6-7 week also feed more probably too much as it's all new experience to me so learning as I go)
d Didn't test at this time but usually ph in my tank was 7.6 don't remember hardness but it was always nothing extreme.

4)
a) Eheim 2215 and 2217 (this one was just added last week as I'll be getting new tank to move all l144 fry so 2215 will go to new tank) for now both running in 46 Gal
b) 20% weekly WC will start to do twice a week about 30% to knock down Nitrate levels
c) Tap water used for WC with prime mixed in just before WC

5)Food: Twice a day (since I got the fry there I increased amount of food and still trying to adjust so it's not too much or too little)

Zucchini 2x week, NLS H2o stable wafers, NLS AlgaeMax, Repashy soilent green (they get that one daily), Hikari sinkin wafers and algae wafers, rest I mix around so they get something different every day.

6) Temp 26.5C or about 79.7F

7) No treatment yet

8) Pics sorry for not the greatest quality.

do not know what bit your mouth off the pleco but looks very nasty . It would not hard but to treat with the two fixes, see how that goes and monitor this. have you got the sick pleco in a Q tank or is it still in the general tank because you can monitor and medicate better in the Q tank. Good luck cheers jk

Thanks for replies guys, this young female died, the day of the post I moved her into my spare tank that I have set up and running and before I started any meds it died next day.
I think it was some kind of disease as there is nothing really in that main tank that could have done it, also I would have spot fighting hopefully.

Too bad possibly I haven't noticed and she has been sick for a bit before I have spotted this.
