I have taken a pair of L066 from my colony to put in a tank of their own, I believe there is a male and a female there, what are your thoughts?


Also, I think this one is a male, but if its a female I will add it in with the other two. What do you think?

Here is a better pic of the one that I believe is a female, I would hate for them to be all male, as I have them in their own breeding tank to make it easier to collect fry.

they are a bit young, so it's not a sure thing at all, but I would bet that the larger fish is a male, and the smaller is possibly a female, although I have had fish that looked like that and surprised me as they grew increasingly hairy.

the head shapes look minutely different.

Going on body shape i'd say both male.

At this stage the little one is looking efeminate. It could be a nice little female or it could start slimming down and get hairy. All you can do at that age is your best guess and see how they develop.
