Hi all, should I be concerned with this growth in my girl's mouth and if so can I do anything about it? She is healthy besides this.

I hoping someone would tell me it was a harmless growth and not to worry about it. I think I will just monitor to make sure it doesn't get any bigger. I have emailed the The Fish Vet for some advice. thanks:)

What the vet said.

"It is likely a benign tumour, or it could also be a mycobacterial granuloma. Either way, it might eventually impact on ability to prehend food.

Surgical excision is recommended, and we can analysed the lump once that's done."

I don't want to put her through the stress of surgery.
