I think the reason those fish are fighting is pretty obvious that tank is way too small for those monsters. They must both be 16"+ it just seems like there's no room for one let alone both.

I sold in the last few months I think 6 330's that were all over 10" TL and a few around 8"TL they never fought once only a bit of chasing.

I have in one tank 20+ panaque I can never see all of them that's because there's enough space for all of them to live peacefully.

The only time I ever had real issues with fighting was when I had a few around 8" in 90 gal 4'x18"
I had to move one out and that settled it.

As Jackson said. I see more aggression with mine now that I have four 20cm/8"+ and a few others approaching this size in my 150x50cm footprint. I've seen pictures/videos of tanks with huge amounts of plecs and Panaque in them, but you can't judge them much based on a snapshot of time. It's really a case of seeing whether it works yourself.

I had most of them in a 150xh ( these are my smaller ones averaging 6" ) but with the recent reduction of stock ( i sold a lot if plecos big and small ) and I sold some smaller tanks I moved them to my pita tank 5x2x3 I hate it I wish it was 6" shorter.
It was bought when I was a datnoid junky. Tall fish need tall tanks.

Now I only have a few 10"+ 330's and my big guy. The rest are youngsters 418's,27's,190's,330's oh and a few 137's

My other plec only tank gas a FRT, 6xl-37's and 2x 137's

I'll be honest I'm enjoying the hobby a lot more with less fish.

I should of posted pics of them before I sold them.

Here's a couple just to show they were in tip top shape. These pics were taken just for the ad I posted to sell them.

I love the second to last pic of the 330. Lovely colours and nice spots.

3ft high?! I bet that's a nightmare to maintain.

How bigs your 'big guy'? And what is he?

Bring on the weekend for my new tank!
