my post was right not to take the fish out of my tank 600 lt. full of logs, (very difficult) and photograph them, but with your help to understand what to look for to acknowledge the sexes, so 'move from one male and two females a tank smaller.
thanks

Sometimes its obvious, hairy tail in a male and sometimes not.
I raised 3 L066 over 3 years to get a male and all three ended up females lol.
You would look for thicker bones on the pec fins in males usually. A spade sort of head V. Males shape tends to be sharp and shaped like an icecream cone in the body where as female have nice curves ( just like me :p ) and a cigar sort of shape narrow head, wider body right down to the pelvis and tapering to a thin tail.

As Brengun says plus can look for longer adontode growth behind the gill plates. Males will often/usually? have more longer hair there.
