sorry, that was not quite right. Also:
In 1944 Mr. Leonard P. Schulz described Panaque suttoni.
He wrote (p. 311): "Named suttoni in honor of Dr. and Mrs. Frederick A. Sutton ...". It's a man and a woman. Therefore, the correct spelling is suttonorum.
In 1980 Isbrücker still wrote P. suttoni.
At the least from 1997 different ichthyologists wrote P.
suttonorum.
I did not find the exact date for the change.
Regardless, some Panaque cochliodon was sold as
Panaque suttoni for the above reason.
Today Panaque suttonorum is valid.
