Hi all, is there a way to see how well the water is being moved around the tank?I mean a visual way, moving plants I know, but I mean like a die. Like food die?some thing that won't harm fish, plants etc.just wonted to know just see if my circulation pump is in the best place.

well i have my co2 going up into the pump but the bubbles are too small to follow and the flow is interupted by 2 bits of bog wood.at least with a die i could see the where the water goes.

try the 'easy life easy neo' stuff from your LFS. it's a cloudy white colour, the treatment itself is used as a tap water conditioner, bacteria booster and basically most things so just adding a dose in your tank will not harm the fish.

hope this helps,
Tom

You can buy a device for mesuring water flow from a tap and this can be used with a filter
Or Get Max to build one out of old bed springs?
