tried spinach today

Tried something new today fed our barbs and tetras spinach they loved it

I have been giving them the frozen veggie food cubes occasionally but can no longer get it so tried spinach

Just boiled it for one minute chopped it up they loved it

I froze the leftovers in a ice cube maker with a little water

I now realise that the commercial frozen veggie food is most likely spinach anyway

that is interesting , I know my variety of fish in the 54g eat zucchini because i see the tell-tale signs of light green poo sometimes. I put it in at night for the night munchers, but they must dig it too they are harlequin raspbora , dwarf boesemani rainbows, praecox rainbow , only the diamond tetra dont eat it to my knowledge.

Still feeding spinach at least twice every week
The barbs seem to be doing well on it
I have noticed that the plecs don't seem to bother with it they want more solid food I guess but it's not left that long on the bottom of the tank though
