Already got a 3X display setup but it's not 3D, using 3 Samsung BX2450 monitors in extended and 2D surround, i spanned Crysis 3 across the monitors and it ran really good, has a resolution of 5760x1080.

Nice rig,

Ive just built mine and am wondering if putting windows 8 on was the wisest choice!

I am thinking that i haven't put to much on so i could get win 7 and go with it!

Yeah i tried win8 a few times but keep going back to win7, not to keen on metro, i like aero in 7...but i did find that 8 booted faster but i think win7 OS is better for gaming...but its a personal choice on what OS people want to use, i'm sticking with 7 64bit as i know my way around it better than 8.

no difference between windows 7 and 8 in my opinion. 8 is just 7 with metro splash screen menu added on to it. I have a windows 7 computer and a windows 8 one. I did find that windows 8 appears to boot faster and shuts down faster.

windows 8 is really designed for touch screen enabled devices. My laptop is also touch screen and I think without that windows 8 would be a pain to navigate a lot of the time.

I never chose windows 8 it was just as standard and I think a lot of applications on that even though the boot time is quicker are slow to load up especially from the metro screen rather than the desktop from explorer.

So I would also stay away from windows 8 if primarily for gaming.

The one thing I did like about windows 8 though is that I could run a game in full screen and keep it open while browsing other apps and flick between really quickly without waiting for the game to reload back to full screen again, if that makes sense.
