Excuse my ignorance, im a noob.
I need help identifying a plec I actually used to own. I dont have any pics and cant find anything in the profile section that im convinced is it so here goes.
It was about 30cm long, jet black and I mean really black with gold spots/blotches all over its body including its underside. It had quite a wide flatish head going into a fairly narrow body and long lyre tail, the dorsal was quite high and spiky and also spotted as were its other fins. It appeared quite spiky and plated not like some of the smoother looking plecs you see. I paid over a £100 for it probably about 8 years ago now. It was beautiful, the best looking plec I've ever seen and was gutted when I had to let it go.
I would like to get another but have no idea what it was, when I bought it I was told it was rarely collected for the quarium trade.
