Hi everyone, Wayne here from the UK, i have been reading now and then on here as i just love Pleco`s, not one i don t like, i have had a few over the years my best being the big Sailfin, he was a stonker of a fish at near 14 inch and perfect.
I have just cycled my new tank (550l 38x30x30 )after a little time off in the hobby, but this is not for what i am here for, although i will be having a few L numbers in the tank, i am also in the process of setting up a small breeding room of about 8 tank, from two 32x14x18 and the rest being 2-3 footers, just collecting them now and making racking soon. So i am reading up on what to have a go at breeding, i hope the breeding tanks are big enough? the two 32 inch that is, the smaller will be for the babies and holding tanks. I will only be going to max 6 inch L number, nothing to over priced a in the L46 etc.

So i will read on around here and see what to look at and how to go about it.

so hi again hope to chat soon:D

Hi all,
Looks good, the plant with the stripy leaves, in front of the air stone in the shot from the tank end is a non-aquatic (Dracaena).

cheers Darrel

stunning  and beautiful L's  wow !!

did you put all those fish in at same time ? if so , just watch for amonia spikes and do wc's if you see any.

I am jealous of your natural look, i just don't have the creatitivy ...when i try ,it looks forced :wb: good job !!! and thanks for sharing with us :)

Hi Zeebo, yes all went in at once all prams are spot on, i did a fishless ammonia cycle which took 3 weeks, so fully cycled to 2ppm ammo in 24hrs, getting double zero readings ;)
First time for me doing a cycle this way, i used to always have cycled media to hand, this was interesting see how the cycle changes.

To be honest, this was the first time i have ever made a 3D background, i was a bit concerned if it would look ok as once it is in its not coming out to easy.

I have pictures of what i did to get the background if your interested in giving it a go.

I have one worry about L091 which i will put in the forum, over concerned maybe i dont know.
