Hi I have 8 mature l202 how do I tell male from female and what's a few breeding tips with these guys cheers :hi:

Males once mature they grow hairy tales and front fins, females tend to be smooth. Males head would be wider than the belly just behind front fins. Females the belly is wider than the head. Hope this helps .

With breeding im still yet to get eggs from my trio of 202s. Right size caves, where male just fits.
Clean water, good filtration and oxygen supply along with good food and patience. Leaving them alone I have read helps alot.

also if you have lights on the tank don't turn on much as they dont like much light either, also they don't like water changes either i found out with my colony.
