Hello,
Just found this forum and wanted introduce myself and my pleco. My name is Roy and Al is the name of our pleco. He is four years old and about 12 inches long. Being that long he is rapidly growing out of the 20 gallon aquarium he live in now. I’m starting a project with my three sons (ages 6, 8 & 12) to make Al a new home on a budget of $300. Luckily I have found a 150 gallon aquarium with stand for $70 leaving me $230 to set it up.
We will be documenting the progress on my YouTube channel, starting this week when I pick up the aquarium. We are calling it the Plecostomus Project, so any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I believe this will be a hard but fun project and great DIY learning experience for my boys.
