Just saying Hi. :hi:

I'm back in the Tang & Pleco keeping addiction.
I'm almost a 100% sure I used to be a member, might be thinking of Plecofanatics, which seems to have died.
In 2001 or so to 2009 I became intrigued by Cichlids.
Dempseys of course were my 1st.
l realised quickly, they should be a species only tank, unless your putting fish in there for the actual purpose of feeding them...

From that came the curiosity of other species only tanks.
I got stuck on Tangs.
at the time of selling my whole set up in 2009
I was one of a few with a Wild caught Frontosa Moba colony.
Imported as soon as they were allowed to be :)
I also kept colonies of tropheus Moliro, Cyathopharynx foai Sibwesa, Synodontis petricola, so many others, electric blues, yellows, etc.

Also though - the plecos got noticed..
More of a challenge, ground running fish, sometimes violent, very different to keep, but more interesting, so before I had to clear my Fishroom I also managed to have accumulated:
L201 Colony
L333 Colony
Peppermint Bristlenose Colony
LDA01 Colony
L066 Colony.
L128 Blue Phantom Colony
Owned a single L191, L091 Dragonfin, And of course a massive Goldspot in with my Mobas :)

Anyhoo.
Thats my history,
atm, Im keeping an awesome L333 Colony.
And a Peppermint Colony.
Both are growing strong and I'm sure Ill gather more again :p

Cheers.
Karl :hi:

I do miss - my whole set up..
I only had the phantoms for 6 mths or so -
Im confident Id have gotten them to breed.
2 females and a male.
Mobas, are probably my biggest miss.
Had the most perfect shapes and lines..

I wasnt big on taking pictures back then - wish I wouldve now tho -
In this photobucket link is most of the pics I took at random times - some of them are in there.
