Hi all, looking forward to this.

Hi everyone, Wayne here from the UK, i have been reading now and then on here as i just love Pleco`s, not one i don t like, i have had a few over the years my best being the big Sailfin, he was a stonker of a fish at near 14 inch and perfect.
I have just cycled my new tank (550l 38x30x30 )after a little time off in the hobby, but this is not for what i am here for, although i will be having a few L numbers in the tank, i am also in the process of setting up a small breeding room of about 8 tank, from two 32x14x18 and the rest being 2-3 footers, just collecting them now and making racking soon. So i am reading up on what to have a go at breeding, i hope the breeding tanks are big enough? the two 32 inch that is, the smaller will be for the babies and holding tanks. I will only be going to max 6 inch L number, nothing to over priced a in the L46 etc.

So i will read on around here and see what to look at and how to go about it.

so hi again hope to chat soon

Tank pics

Thanks for the welcome guys

Today i wa sbusy sorting a stand out for a couple of breeding tanks, i have room for about 40 but i want to start small, so under the stairs is free and 7 tanks will fit maybe.
This is the tank i have near cycled for the community fish, i got this tank of ebay at a bargain price of 11 with stand and light

Then in place but lots in between as i made the background myself

All set up waiitng for fish this weekend, if all goes still good with the cycle.
Sorry the pics are naff, Using SWMBOS phone, bust mine.

Today fitted gas struts for the hood

Just look empty with no fish , but soon to be.

Hi all,
Looks good, the plant with the stripy leaves, in front of the air stone in the shot from the tank end is a non-aquatic (Dracaena).

cheers Darrel

What a day we had yesterday, all day going around getting stock for the tank, mainly basic community fish and a some little cracker
For a better look i took a video of the tank, pictures are not always the best. sorry the vid is not the best quality but i am no movie maker and the phone is rubbish.

So stock

21 Rummy Nose
12 Glowlight Tetra
12 Black widow
6 Cory trilineatus
2 Hillstream loach
6 Cherry Shrimps

And
L91
L204

Hope you like the vid
