Thought I would update this breeding log as my male now looks after the young very well in his cave then releases and the fry do very well on their own without being put into a fry saver :woohoo:

Don't know why it didn't work in the early spawns, maybe fry were fragile :dk: but they seem to have got the hang of it now

These are definitely seasonal spawners as mine finished spawning in February having started in October and the male is losing his hairs now so it won't be long before I can't tell him from the smaller female :whistle:
