Hi

Looking for plastic that can be easily cut for use in the aquarium i.e. the main thing is that it is safe for use in the aquarium, the plan is to section off a corner of the tank for use as a bio filter.

Anyone know of a good place to purchase safe plastic online or in certain stores etc?

As stated the main thing is that it does not impact upon/pollute the water.

Thanks

hi there

I have been looking for the same kinf of product, i have used perspex before for another project and used a stanley knife and metal ruler to cut it. You have to be carful how thick you get it or you will never be able to cut it! I used 2mm...because it's for cornering off a section and you'll be fixing it with silacone it doesnt have to be thickk at all.

In the past i have also bought a picture frame with perspecx fron in the front, they tend to be 1mm and cut and used it to partition a tank.

This is a really cheap ebay item- you just choose the size on the drop down.

Perspex is complety safe aswell
