can i add puffers ?

hi , I have a 54g corner/trigon tank.
Filters-2 70 AC's, 1 hydra-sponge and 1 airstone
temp -79.4d
gravel substrate
rocks, lots of wood and some tall and short silk aquatic plants
Fish-2 L's , 1 male bosemani rainbow ,3 female bosemani , 2 female turquoise rainbows, 2 angel fish , 2 diamond tetra 7 rummynose tetra and 1 farlowella
15%wc every other day, vacuum every Friday

can I put 1 or 2 small puffers in this tank ? Are they tail nippers ?

I've not kept any puffers, but a <"quick look on the WWW"> would suggest "No" and "Yes" respectively.

I've kept a good few types of puffers and they are pretty ruthless tail nippers even the smallest . They seem to gain some kind of sadistic pleasure from it. Great fish to keep though
