i am sorry to say the fry are no where to be seen so i am letting the adult rest up in my main tank and when she has been full of eggs for a week or so then i will try again

Moving fish from tank to tank will only stress them out. I would have left it in the tank in which she spawned. IF it happened once it will happen again without interference

with whiptails the female eats teh eggs so that is why she gets moved

You can take pics just dont stick your hand in the tank and pull out the cave with the eggs in it.

Well you could temporarily add light to take the pic or as you said just not take pics. Your choice just so long as you dont stick your hands in the tank.

she is already full of eggs again i am lucky with this pair never never stop it is a on going cycle
