Just checked the grey tunnel and my common whiptail catfish have laid eggs i am so pleased to see all those green pearls of delight its funny how they always go to that pvc tube no matter what tank or however many other breeding spots there is for them

they're non aquatic plants often sold in the lfs's around us for some reason though they do last a while submerged they eventually rot away.

grats on the spawn though

yup that is correct what hinchles has stated. they are non aquatic plants and will over a period of time die away as they are not suited for underwater life.
