Please help sex these 2 L260

Would like to see what sex these two are. Any help would be appreciated.

Male and female but possibly 2 females?

I would guess one of each

The part that gets me is that it was sold as a pair yet both cave and fan. I would not have thought this is something that both sexs would do.

My females cave and fan :dk:

First pic, i would have a stab at female top, male bottom.

Both males IMO.

bought these as a pair ,no action after 7 months so placed a second cave and thats it both have caved both fan etc as above beats me, i thought only males fanned ?

Some do some don't. All my 333,s used to cave and only the female fanned. Even when the male had eggs he wouldnt fan.

Best way to sex them is by conditioning them. Female queens get really fat when conditioned and are easy to spot

they both seem to be the same sex anyway...

whether it be 2 boys or 2 girls....

with 260's it can be deceiving as i've seen a spawning female hairy and thicker front ray on the pec fin and body hair all the way to the tail....
she made the male look rather tame.... i saw them spawning so theres no doubt shes a girl and the male quickly sat over the eggs and started fanning as soon as she finished laying....

but in this particular case im opting for 2 males....well fed ones at that...:yes:

my females can fan sometimes but mostly the males do...
