Has anyone done this?
I've had a request to send non-native fish to New York and I am keen to do it but am interested in how you have done it and the costs involved?
Thanks a lot
Nat

I would be very cautious as over there it is winter now and very cold. I think it is too risky as well, plus all of the quarantine regulations etc, for me would be in the too hard basket for me sorry cheers jk

i dont think usa has anywhere near the same quarantine procedures as we do in australia.... but fish are cheaper in the USA in comparrison to australias cost so i see this as a non event....

Thanks guys. I'm waiting to hear back about an export license.
It will definitely cost a lot more than the fish but the buyer doesn't care and they don't have these fish there (397)
I'm willing to give it a go with heat packs if it won't take too long and isn't too difficult
I'll update when I hear back from quarantine and a customs broker
Cheers

Thanks mate. Yeah it's a definite challenge and I wish our quarantine would realise that our rivers are at a low temp etc. I want to help & know i'll lose a lot of money but it would be great to see
