PlecoPlanet is 79-84'F
PlanetCatfish has 77-86'F
Seriouslyfish has it listed at 72-77'F
This article from Shane's world
http://www.planetcatfish.com/shanesworld/shanesworld.php?article_id=454&title=Breeding+L128
has them breeding at 82-84'F.
But in many posts people point out that the blues come from the colder part of the river upstream. There are also posts saying that the blue's color will improve in the low 70's F.

What is the ideal temperature for L128 Blue Phantoms? I'm not planning to breed him, would just like some clarification.
Thanks for any help!

and they love slate, caves, or just to hang around on. Even though you didn't ask, I can tell you they LOVE raw zucchini skin , red sweet bell peppers and spinach- all raw. good luck with them and keep us posted !

Funny u should mention raw, I've found mine won't touch blanched, and I can put a whole zuchini in there and remove it the need day with all the skin gone, and not one bit of the flesh touched

Haha so true. Mine skin the zucchini so fast I could put it into another tank for the other plecos to eat the flesh. I've started just feeding the skin to save waste :)
