Have you tried stripping them?

i have just setup two 4ftx2ftx18 tanks today which i will end up using to spawn them on their own and to grow up some fry. I will wait a few weeks b4 i put them into the new tanks. I have a couple of dither fish in them atm to get the cycle happening. I hope there's enuff interest in these fish as i have a colony of 3 boys ranging from 9-12cm and seven girls ranging from 5-8cm and three shells, so there could be quite a few!

I had a trio at 4-5cm 1male 2 female and put up an eoi i had around 12 people ask what i was after and could i ship within 2-3 days, so there are plenty of people after these fish.

How long did your fry to take to get to 3cm?
I have been told to expect 9 months?

I used spectrum thera +a and found them to grow at a steady rate nothing like an american cichlid more around the 3-6mm a month mark.
