G'day Jason, I have been planting in terracotta pots for the last 10-15 years. Buy them new from a nursery and give them a few days soaking as a safety measure I also add in some prime and melafix, just for stamps.

Other than the tropica and tetra, etc, stuff from lfs what other soil/substrate can I use in the pots?
I've seen that a potting compost can be used.
And is there a way of putting pots filled with the soil in aquarium without emptying loads of the water and fish?
