just turn on the lights when you feed and do w/cs
you can check the fish at the same time

i dunno if lighting is an issue, but dimmer is better i guess. For me, females always enter at night, and in the bright of day, both sexes are tucked away, so eh.


phosphate is only important in the sense that it is indicative (well, at least orthophosphate) of some chemical hanky panky going on--probably decomp. And imbalances give you algae like a *****.
