Feeding Panaque turnips

a swede is a turnip crossed with a cabbage so i would say it is safe.
It is the staple diet of the locals were I come from any way

I think that when I fed turnips they became mushy far too fast and the Panaque didn't even like it. Swede on the other hand, is one their favourites. My preferred way to feed it is in thin slices (about 1cm) and the hang them on the glass using suckers. Swede also tends to stick together so is easy to clean as well.

Mine eat radish so I don't see them ignoring a turnip. I never blanch the vegetables I put in so it should last a couple of days in the water with no problems.

I'm going to try them and swede to see whats first choice
